Family business with 13 years' experience

It all started with the opening of the hotel “Varosha” and the restaurant “Drakata” in 2007 in the city of Lovech by Petko.

Her daughter, Tsvetlena, completed her marketing studies in Angers and worked in big international companies in Paris, thanks to which she gained experience and ideas. During all this time, Tsvetlena is also a member of the Confiance Bulgaria association and supports all humanitarian and cultural tourism projects between the two countries. In 2019, father and daughter open Karis Tour, tour operator, specializing in rural and local tourism in Bulgaria.

Missions

Discover Bulgaria “differently” and at your own pace to better immerse yourself in the places. Our trips are concentrated in the Greater Balkan region – authentic and picturesque, in the center of Bulgaria and in the heart of the Bulgarian soul.

Today, the real luxe is to take your time to enjoy the route as much as the destination. It is possible to slow down the pace and lengthen the duration of the stages, without forgetting the essential sites.

We work with small hotel structures or charming guest rooms for greater availability of staff and a warm atmosphere. Our accommodation is close to tourist centers of interest to avoid unnecessary travel.
