Karis Tour is a member of the association ‘’Confiance-Bulgaria’’ since 2009 and supports all humanitarian and cultural tourism projects between the two countries. The French association CONFIANCE-BULGARIE was created in 1990 to set up humanitarian projects with Bulgaria. The exchanges continue and have been extended to different fields: educational, cultural, sporting, agricultural, economic. 2010 saw the creation of the Twinning Committee between the French city LAVAL and the Bulgarian city of LOVETCH with the aim of enhancing relations between the two municipalities.

Since 1990, multiple exchanges have been set up between the two cities. Some have been going on for over 12 years already:

• MFR Pignerie LAVAL and LOVETCH exchange: since 2008

• Don Bosco MAYENNE and LOVETCH High School Exchange: since 2008

• Exchange Training Center for Apprentices LAVAL and LOVETCH: since 2015

• Exchange Lycée Robert Buron LAVAL and LOVETCH: since 2013

• MFR Bressuire exchange in 2013

• Trip to LOVETCH and Bulgaria: in 1996, 2013, 2017, 2019

• A new exchange is being set up for 2 years with the lycée Saint SATURNIN for a class of 24 students on an internship at LOVETCH for three weeks in March 2020.
